Fourth Interagency Conference on Research in the Watersheds

Observing, Studying, and Managing for Change

Fairbanks, Alaska
September 26 - 30, 2011

Submit Abstracts and Manuscripts

Submit abstracts to waso-nrpc_icrw4@nps.gov using guidelines below.

Submit initial single-page abstracts by March 25. Abstracts will be used to plan the program and should use the templates below. Neither the program nor the abstracts it contains are to be considered as official publications so review and approval should not be as rigorous as that needed for the Proceedings manuscripts.

Peer-reviewed manuscripts submitted by June 15 will be published by the U.S. Geological Survey in the "Proceedings of The Fourth Interagency Conference on Research in the Watersheds" with hard copies distributed at the conference. We expect that ALL oral and poster presentations will be accompanied by a manuscript in the ICRW proceedings. Papers should be no longer than six camera-ready pages and use the style and paper templates below.

Identify your files with your last name and first initial with the suffix ICRW4_abs for abstracts or ICRW4_ms for manuscripts (i.e., RenthalJ_ICRW4_abs.doc and RenthalJ_ICRW4_ms.doc) and submit as an email attachment to waso-nrpc_icrw4@nps.gov. We expect the Conference and its Proceeding to reflect state-of-the-art research in watersheds.
